Ravelry Group - Compassionate Yarn Artists

Are you suffering from constant pain, illness or other life conditions and need a little compassion or are you just passionate about yarns, fibres and fabrics? We are a group that offers both passion and compassion…. Whatever your life is like you are welcome here.

We are an all accepting group who just want to have fun and feed our yarn addictions with love, life, and laughter.

Photos of your WIP and/or FO’s may be placed in the appropriate thread. Please do it this way so that others can easily find and see the arts they wish to see.

We will chat about our various yarn arts and stashes, our other hobbies and crafts, our chronic ailments, our favorite recipes, and whatever comes to mind. We might have a swap or two for those who enjoy swaps, and will help one another with artsy problems and ideas.

The Phoenix in our Icon, is representable of each of us arising from the troubles in our lives, to live our Life to the fullest and to the best of our abilities~

Hey, Lookie what I just bought!

I just got this pattern from Crafty Deb and HAVE to show you!   I love it and will be making two of them between now and Halloween.  I want to take them to Starbucks so they can sit on the table with us and have a cuppa with Wendy and I~    I think they will give us two of the sample cups so our new friends can share a cuppa with us~  He has a lovely smile, don't you think?

I think they will be the hit of the day, don't you?

You can get the pattern, and it's well worth the cost, at http://www.craftydeb.com/index along with many, many more patterns.  I also got this one today, and want to make these to give to kids.  Aren't they Adorable?

Gotta love her eyes!!!

PS:  I buy my patterns from her just as anyone else will.  I am posting this only because I love her patterns so much, not for any form of gain!
